I’m Kacy – the owner and head stylist at Blue Paw Pet Spa. I have been working in the dog grooming industry for over a decade now, working my way up from a dog bather to a stylist and salon owner! When I opened Blue Paw in July 2021, I had a vision of bringing quality one on one grooming services to the dogs of my community. Focusing on each individual pet’s needs, as opposed to running a grooming assembly line, is extremely important to me. In the salon’s inaugural year, Blue Paw was named Buchanan’s Business of The Year! After being open for only two years, Blue Paw was voted as the Leaders Publications Best Of The Best Grooming Salon in Michiana, an honor that the salon has now won for the past 3 years in a row!
As Blue Paw Pet Spa grew and blossomed into a household name, the salon and staff grew as well! In July of 2023 Bailey and Lindsey joined the Blue Paw Team. Then, with the addition of Kellie in 2024, we were able to start offering professional cat grooming services as well! In 2025 we were blessed to have Jamie join our team, followed by Hunter and Ryann. With these amazing people on the Blue Paw Crew, I have created my very own dream team of pet professionals that share my passions and values in and out of the salon. We are all looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you and your pet to the Blue Paw Family!

My name is Katie and I have been grooming dogs for over 14 years! I actually met Kacy years ago working in a different salon and I am thrilled to be back grooming with her. I have a passion for all breeds of dogs, big and small. Outside of the salon, I am a mother of three teenage boys! I also have three dogs at home, two labs and a golden retriever. I love working at Blue Paw and I truly value the relationships I make with both the dogs and their parents. I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies here at the spa!!
My name is Lindsey. My grooming career started when I became a Groomer’s Apprentice at a corporate salon with Kacy. Now, roughly six years later, I have come full circle and am now a certified groomer working for Kacy at Blue Paw! At home, I am a new mom to a beautiful baby boy and I have a German Shepherd, Maya, and a kitten named Goose! I am particularly proud of the work I have done with Maya – I rescued and rehabilitated her five years ago and have completely transformed her from an unsocialized, aggressive dog into a loving and goofy pet. In my free time I own a three year old Rocky Mountain Horse that I care for and train. I also work with other horses in various endurance races and events. I love being a part of this team and I look forward to bringing my own knowledge of canine behavior and training to Blue Paw!
My name is Bailey and I have been professionally working with dogs in the salon for over four years now as well as having been volunteering at my local animal shelter. Personally, I have three furbabies – Sadie, a Belgian Malinois and two cats, Bob and Aggie and my very own dragon (a bearded dragon, that is). Additionally, I have multiple chickens, geese, sheep and even a cow! When I’m not grooming dogs or tending to my own personal zoo, I enjoy playing video games and creating digital art. I enjoy being a part of the Blue Paw Crew and I look forward to meeting you at the spa!
My name is Kellie and I have been in the grooming industry since 2019 when I started as a bather under the guidance of Kacy. In 2021, I attended a grooming academy to further my career and become a professional dog groomer. Inspired by my own clutter of cats at home, I continued my education by completing a cat grooming academy in 2022! As of 2026, I am the head Cat Groomer at Blue Paw. I absolutely love the connections I build with all of the pets I work with; seeing them so excited just to walk in the salon door makes my day! In my free time I love to exercise my creativity by participating in community theatre, crafting, playing video games, and working in various art forms. I love being part of the Blue Paw pack, and I can’t wait to meet your kitties and cats!!

My name is Jamie and I have been working with animals longer than I can remember! I started in this field at a young age volunteering at Reins Of LIfe, feeding and caring for horses. My passion grew as I became a Veterinarian Assistant and Surgical Assistant at a local animal clinic. I found my true joy working in a grooming salon though. I have been working with dogs in the salon environment for over 3 years now and I absolutely love it. I started working at Blue Paw as a bather and quickly moved up to a Groomers Apprentice. I am looking forward to continuing my education and growing my career within this community!

My name is Hunter and I have been working with dogs in the pet grooming industry for a little over two years now. I’ve known I wanted to work with animals since I was very young, and I couldn’t be happier to continue my learning here at Blue Paw. At home, I have a new puppy named Solarflare and a cat named Remi. Fun Facts about me: my favorite animal is a fox and when I am not working with animals I enjoy reading, playing games, and drawing. I look forward to taking care of your dogs at the spa!
Hello everyone,
My name is Ryann and I am a senior at Buchanan High school. I am currently doing an internship at Blue Paw and have already learned so much and it’s been a great experience so far! My love for animals comes from showing at the Berrien County Youth Fair ever since I was five. I have two of my own dogs, my chiweenie Cooper, and then my yellow lab, Walker! Some fun facts about me are I love the color purple, I love and live off of Taco Bell! My favorite dog is a dachshund or a chiweenie! I am excited to continue this experience and to meet more of the awesome pets that come along with the job!
